Banjo in the Funnies

Sorry it's been a while since I've posted. Been a distracting summer but it's almost over.

Thought I would take this opportunity to post a banjo cartoon or two. This first one is from George Herriman's Krazy Kat...

Krazy Kat picked on his banjo fairly regular-like. In this case it seems like he might get a brick to the noggin as reward. I have never been 'bricked' though I am certain it has been considered.

Though this may be seen as fiscally reckless I support the notion. Fingerpicks may be issued at age 3 and capo at 5. Age 15 you get a mute.
